Soil Mixes and Composted Biosolids – Which Ones?

Q. In the past, when viewing your website I was able to see what each one of your soil mixes consisted of, now that is no longer the case.  Is there a reason that information is no longer available?

A. There was a problem in the hosting of our website and it was redone asap in mid-March. The following information will hopefully be on the updated website very soon.

Viragrow uses two different composts; one made from MSW (Municipal Solid Waste compost, aka, 166 compost) which must follow the EPA guidelines and the other is called “organic” compost (previously called “Vegan” compost) since it was made from only recycled plant waste and contained no animal or human waste products. There is actually a third compost which is similar to 166 but a bit coarser and in our Soil Pro compost bags.

Garden Soil Mix – Viragrow Compost (166) + washed gas sand

‘Tomato Lady’ Soil Mix –  Garden Soil Mix with about 10% more compost + fish emulsion + sea kelp + rock dust (Kelzyme)

Rejuvenate Soil Mix – “Organic” compost + washed gas sand + fish emulsion + sea kelp + rock dust (kelzyme)
MJ Soil Mix – “Organic” Compost + Premium Compost + fish emulsion + sea kelp + rice hulls + rock dust (Kelzyme)

Not pictured but similar to Rejuvenate but with added rice hulls

Any of these products can be bagged in house. Just give us a call and give us 48 hours or less to bag them! Talk with Arturo.

Stay tuned!
